Police Code Cheat Sheet
Please note, while based on them, these are not real police codes or protocols, and information is basic and simplified for gaming and entertainment purposes. On one of the games and communities I play on, I have a character who is a police officer.
I struggled significantly during training with 10 codes, using either a multiple page document, or even a standard list. I struggled because if I was looking for something specific I needed to say such as 'robbery', I would have to scan over a long list of information each time.
The way I ended up getting around that, and said to be 'ingenious' and loved by other players when I shared the information, was creating an image based cheat sheet. I used free use clip art to represent most of the scenarios, and adding the information below. Instead of trying to scan words, you just scan the images, and have the information immediately available. This document can be customized by players, and being a google document, is easily able to be updates as changes are made.
